The boys got to go on a long train ride last weekend...thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Palmer! It was at the Titusville Railroads, and was a 3 hr long ride. It was rather fun and they really enjoyed themselves. We got to eat lunch on the train and walk around! Fun day!

On another note, we have some happy news...there will be a 3rd Sanders joining our family sometime in February 2012! We are really excited and Colin says he wants a baby boy. We'll see about that :) For now, we are going to get the house ready for another little person!

It's been a while since I've blogged! We stay pretty busy with all the many things that go on around us! Being a stay at home mom can sometimes be the hardest job! Teaching our boys to do the right things is not as easy as some people make it look! We are doing our best and we love our little family.
We just returned from spring choir tour. We went down south and it was so warm! Wishing spring would hurry up and make it's appearance :) Each night the choir did a great job singing and representing AWC. I'm proud to be a part of our young people's lives. It's a privilege to work for the Lord in this way!
Tommy, myself and our 2 boys travel just about every weekend with a singing group.
I will try to post pics more often, but wanted to do a small update on our lives!

Sean is already 8 months old! Why is it the older you get the faster time goes? Well, Sean has been crawling (in reverse only) for a while now, but he just started crawling forward on our summer tour! We are on the road right now (literally, as I am writing this), and won't be home till the 27th of June! The boys are doing well with traveling in the van and being somewhere new every night! We hope to have a good tour for the month of June!

Sean Anthony Sanders was born at 9:30 am Tuesday, Oct. 6th. He weighed 7.4 lbs. We are so happy he is part of our family! We left for the hospital around midnight because my water broke, but I had no contractions till they finally induced me! 10 hours later, after some rest and then much pain, he arrived!! Birthday!

I would love to show a few pics of what we did for my birthday, but for some reason my pictures won't upload! I'll get them up soon hopefully. Anyhow, yesterday we got Colin a babysitter and Tommy took me to Amish country, about an hour from here! It was a nice ride and we went to the famous cheese factory that so many people talk about. The samples were very good. We then went to The Der Dutchman Restaraunt. It was a very nice buffet! We also went to a few little shops in the area then came home! It was a relaxing time. We will definitely have to go back in the near future.

We had a very nice time at our place this evening! Had a cookout and we thought there were only going to be 8 people, but when it all got started there were atleast 17 there. It was great to be able to get together with friends, eat good food and have some fun afterwards!

It's been a busy summer so far. We've been traveling with the college mixed quartet. It has taken us to many different states, camps and churches! It is good to be home for a couple weeks now to get pulled back together! As far as my pregnancy, I'm 26 weeks and things are going very well! The time is getting closer and I have so much to get ready! Colin is getting so big and talking so much. We can't understand everything he's trying to say, but he knows what he's trying to tell us!! There aren't many pictures cause I didn't take that many since we've been gone.

There's nothing like watching a little boy grow up so fast! Colin amazes us everyday with what he knows (he even knows how to be bad...wow!) He is taking us through yet another stage of childhood. It seems like we're at the terrible 2's already! He's been a good boy so far, but just needs a few lessons in life to get him on the right path again =) He's wearing his mom out though!! Well, all is well with my pregnancy so far. On Monday I'll be 18 weeks already. One of Colin's favorite things to do is act like he's talking on the phone, so here's a few pics of him doing just that. Also, when he's on the phone he laughs once in a while (he must see us laughing). It's cute.

Since we are going out with the choir Easter Sunday morning, I thought I would get Colin's Easter basket ready the day before and atleast get pictures of it! Hopefully I will get pictures of Colin with his basket on Sunday! It was always a tradition in my family to color eggs the day before Easter, so now I'm starting to do that with my own little family.

Colin absolutely loves helping me do dishes! (Pardon the bare legs) He could play in water for a very long time!

Good news!! Our little family will be growing in the near future! October 19th is the due date and we are very excited. I had my first appointment and sonogram last Friday and everything looks great! Blood work today and more things to come I'm sure! I'm 12 weeks today.

Just an update to let you all know that Colin does in fact have walking pneumonia. He had a fever the past couple days and a congested cough, so I took him to the doctor before the weekend. It's a good thing I did. It would've been worse if we didn't catch it in time! He had some chest x-rays and it was just the beginning stages, so I just got a prescription and went home. He is a little better today (no fever), but still sick! He's a very much on-the-go little person, and the past couple days he's been just laying around on me or the floor. Not the little boy I know for sure!! Better health is on the way though!

Keepin' Busy!

Yes, I know that I haven't written on here for over a month. Please forgive! Right after Christmas we found out that we could move down to Quales former house so we started packing up our things right away. The following week we would be leaving with the new mixed quartet to go on January tour to the south! It was a very nice trip and the weather was warm and sunny while back home it was snowy and icy! A lot has happened since we returned from tour. We finished packing and basically got everything moved down here in 2 days. We had a couple college guys help out! Colin was not sure of his new surroundings at first. In the mornings especially, he wanted to be held for a few minutes and just look around at all the space. Now he freely runs from room to room getting into anything he can find. He's been very good. We couldn't ask for a better, more adorable little boy! He makes us laugh with his silliness!

Well, college started last Tuesday so Tommy is busy working over there these days. I've got our house pretty much in living order, but still working on the odds and ends! I think any woman would agree with me that they like space to work in the kitchen and I definitely have that and more with the whole house. Well, here are a few pics to view!!

Anniversary!

Wow. Today marks 3 years of being married to my best friend! Can't believe time has gone so fast. I couldn't have asked for a better or more loving man. Tommy took me out for a nice evening on the town. Colin was at the babysitters! We are not the real fancy type to go to places like Olive Garden or whatever, so we went to Denny's! I love Dennys. It was nice. Then he took me shopping at a couple different stores. He even offered to buy me shoes! The only problem with this evening was it went by too fast! Gotta love that man of mine!

We were at my parents for Thanksgiving and had a great relaxing time. Well...Tommy had to deal with my cat, Tink. It wasn't that bad though. Tink is 16 years old and deaf. It's really quite sad, but he wanted to sit on Tommy's lap and finally managed to without to much of a hassel. I thought it was cute, but something tells me that Tommy wasn't quite thrilled with the idea.

Time To Give Thanks!

Well, that time of year is here again. Time for turkey, mashed potatoes and pie. It's also a time to give thanks for everything. So I want to say that I'm thankful for Jesus being my Savior, and also for a wonderful husband and little boy. There are many friends that I'm so glad I have. I couldn't begin to name them all, but they all have a special spot in my life. I hope this Thanksgiving everyone of you can think of several reasons to give thanks to God for all He has done.
Our little family is having Thanksgiving dinner with Tommy's family tonight and then it's off to PA to visit with my family on Thanksgiving Day. We may be there all the way till Sunday. It will be so nice for me to go back "home" for a few days. Until next week! Oh and don't eat too much pie! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Post Election

Well, Obama made it. Not that I'm happy about it, but there is a reason for everything. I didn't even hear his acceptance speech. It was too depressing. But I've decided that he's not going to change the person that I am. I still have a wonderful husband and little boy who makes me smile even in the discouraging times. Kids have a way of cheering their parents up. Their lives are so care free and innocent. No worries about Obama being the president or anything. I still have good friends and great family, so I will go on living my normal life as usual.

This was our second rally in a week. We got to go to Hanoverton to see McCain. That was a tremendous experience. His wife and daugher were there as well as Rudy Giuliani. We got there so early that we got the front row. Exciting! We got to shake hands with John and Cindy McCain and Giuliani. What a day to remember!

We went to a Sarah Palin ralley near Pittsburgh on Thursday the 23rd of October. It was so much fun. I've never been to a ralley before so it was an awesome experience. Sarah is so wonderful. She's so honest and tells it just how it is. We were fairly close to the front so we got to see her close up. We sure are hoping and praying McCain and Palin get into office because if anyone will try their hardest to make a difference in our country, it is THIS WOMAN behind the scenes of John McCain.

Hey Everyone! It has been quite a while since my last post. This whole summer went by and not a word was spoken about it! I received a couple comments from people who wanted to see something else besides Wesley everytime they viewed my blog :) Some new pics will be up shortly. Patience is a virture, right? :) Not giving any excuses, but this past summer was more hectic than ever. Tommy and I traveled with the college ladies trio, I worked at the bookstore here and at camp, and of course my most important job was being a mommy! Our little guy is growing like a weed.
